Requirements

Representing this prestigious and iconic organisation, your main focus will be to build and retain exceptional relationships across all levels of your customer’s business where you will deliver extremely impressive customer service and technical support, adding value to their existing and future client base throughout New Zealand.

Your key responsibilities will include;

  • To establish excellent, long lasting and respectful relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Providing information and technical support to each specific customer tailored to the specifications and requirements of their business.
  • Coordinating product installations and providing product training.
  • Trouble-shooting equipment and system performance issues.
  • Maintain close communication and provide regular feedback to assist in product development.
  • Identify opportunities for the expanded use of products/solutions.
  • Act as the technical lead in tenders and bid processes.
  • Ensure technical/customer records are accurately maintained, in a timely manner, in the respective data bases/systems.

 

To be successful in this role, you will ideally possess:

  • Tertiary level qualification BSc or equivalent and at least 5 years’ experience in a relevant industry.
  • Strong background in Microbiology.
  • Commercially savvy – accomplished and proven relationship builder as well as a capable Business Developer.
  • Strong communication and advanced interpersonal skills where you will be comfortable at all levels across your customer’s business and the ability to adapt your style accordingly.
  • Dedicated to meeting and exceeding customer expectations across technical and scientific support and service.
  • Able to prospect and qualify opportunities.
  • Self-motivated and able to work autonomously.
  • Energetic with a real “can do” attitude exceeding expectations.
  • Intermediate to Advanced MS Office skills with ability to work with CRM and SAP applications.
