Introduction

Sherratt Ingredients are an established and privately owned Food ingredient importer and manufacturer. With over 30 years in business and a newly purpose built facility they are looking for a Production Planner to join the growing team. This is a very busy role and you must be able to think on your feet to come up with solution instantly. Working across all functions within the company you will have the ability to hold good relationships at the same time as being firm in your decisions.

Requirements

Reporting to the Operations Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Management of short, medium and long term planning
  • Management of stock levels / raw materials and ingredients
  • Liaise with account managers on all orders
  • Completion of product costings
  • Completion of associated documentation including BOM

To be considered for this role you will need:

  • Previous experience in a Production Planner position with in Food (or pharmaceutical)
  • Strong skills using ERP systems (Greentree preferred)
  • Outstanding communication skills and proven ability to work well cross-functionally

You must be a focussed individual with the ability to reprioritise and solve problems instantly. This role is the definition of multi-tasking and you will have the ability to thrive under pressure and take pride in your work.
