Their vision is to continue to be a high performing organisation serving national and international clients.  They will achieve this through identifying and facilitating their customers’ requirements and providing exceptional service.  As National Sales Consultant your role will primarily be to actively and successfully promote and account manage contract manufacturing services in a knowledgeable and consultative way.





The role of National Sales Consultant is critical to the achievement of the organisation’s growth target.  You will be required to manage some existing customer relationships while placing a high level of priority and focus on national strategic new business development where your results will be reflected in increased market share and profit margin retention.

We are seeking a Sales Professional who is commercially/financially astute, energetic, positive, creative, quick to learn, flexible and trustworthy.  These attributes will be well complemented by an engaging personality with superb communication skills and a drive for success.


  • Effective National Territory Management where you will evaluate present and future opportunities, both within and outside your client base, with a proactive and strategic approach.
  • Key to your success will lie in your outgoing personality and ability to confidently communicate with professionalism across a wide and diverse audience from Senior Management, Technical Specialists through to Production/Operations Management and/or Brand Owners who are well positioned to discuss the total manufacturing process.
  • In order to add value to the process you may need to network/liaise with Packaging/Labelling Specialists.
  • Succeed at meeting or exceeding sales targets and activity objectives which will be set and monitored by the Manager.
  • Report to the Manager regularly via weekly meetings and provide Weekly Reports, Sales Plans and Forecasts/Budgets.
  • Work autonomously in the territory while also contributing to the management of the business by gathering competitive intelligence and sharing experiences.
  • Keep up to date on product training.  Training will be provided on key products however a willingness to self-learn from literature is required.
  • Identify and track new entrants to the market who are keen to develop/launch a range of cosmetic products.
  • Ability to work autonomously from prospect identification, building relationships, need analysis, pricing through to negotiations and ultimately closing business; following through to retaining tight and mutually respectful cohesive and valued based relationships.


  • A proven and accomplished outstanding sales achiever who has excellent technical aptitude as you will need to gain an understanding of your customer’s specific requirements and processes in order to discuss viable solutions to outsource their manufacturing process.
  • Possess enviable communication, like-ability and well-honed listening skills where you are able to engender trust and respect in a short period of time.
  • Passionate about providing solutions with a genuine commitment to both the organisation’s and your customer’s success and growth.
  • Efficient time management and effective at managing administration processes, such as quotations, emails and well documented customer communications.
  • Professionally presented with a positive and honest attitude to doing business.
  • Proficient computer/technology skills i.e. Word, Excel, i-Pads etc.
  • Entrepreneurial flair, innovative with the ability to ‘think outside the box’.
  • Cope well with pressure and a high work load.
