Introduction

Our client is a medium-sized, highly credible and successful medical company, who are instantly recognised for their ‘cutting edge’ medical devices.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the company is in need of a Warehouse Clerk in their distribution facility for a NZ Citizen or Permanent Resident. This is a full-time position 40 hours per week (8:30am to 5:00pm).

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the company is in need of a Warehouse Clerk in their distribution facility for a NZ Citizen or Permanent Resident. This is a full-time position 40 hours per week (8:30am to 5:00pm).

Main accountabilities:

  • Dispatch sales order to customers and goods to sales team on time
  • Process inward goods on time
  • Organise inventory and manage warehouse and freight resources
  • Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse, following health and safety guidelines
  • Perform day to day sales invoice and status reports
  • Assist in performing stock counts

To be successful for this role you must meet the following criteria:

  • Minimum NCEA level 3, or relevant previous experience
  • Warehousing knowledge/ skills / experience
  • Understand dispatch processes and inward goods
  • Excellent Customer Service skills is beneficial
  • Good business acumen and financial awareness
  • Able to lead, use initiative and take responsibility
  • Good computer skills and numeracy skills
  • Confident in liaising with freight carrier services
  • Physically fit for light weight items (less than 5kg)
  • Fork hoist license is advantageous but not essential

Importantly, you will have a positive personality and ‘can-do’ attitude, with excellent interpersonal/ communication skills. This is a pivotal role within their growing business and your hard work and diligence will be highly valued.
