This organisations’ ‘state of the art’ Production Facility in Hamilton utilizes cutting edge machinery and GMP principals to manufacture products adhering to strictest regulations. In order to support their high production demand, we are looking for Die Setters experienced in Injection Moulding and previous work experience in a GMP compliant environment.


Reporting to Shift Supervisor, your key responsibilities will include;

  • Complete responsibility for all aspects of the change-over including (Preparation, Die Change, Start up, Quality Checks, Trouble Shooting, Cleaning) pertaining to the moulding operations of injection moulding machines.
  • Cleaning of the work area prior to and after the change-over.
  • Focus on improving operational processes, decreasing downtime, cost cutting measures, etc.
  • Compliance with Health & Safety requirements while maintaining a safe and efficient working environment at all times.
  • May be required to assume the position of Shift Supervisor during his/her absence.
  • Work in a team, mentoring and training fellow or junior staff.

To be successful in this role, you will possess the following skills and attributes;

  • Minimum 3-4 years’ experience in Die Setting in Injection Moulding machines preferably in a GMP environment.
  • Skills and experience with injection moulding machines esp. Negri Bossi, Sumitomo, Engel, Arburg, will be a distinct advantage.
  • Tool room/die prep experience with complex tools.
  • Experience with a range of resins.
  • Flexibility to work shifts and ideally weekends.
  • Excellent ‘hands-on’ skills with an ability to ‘think on your feet’ and trouble shoot.
  • A highly motivated, team player with a ‘can do’ attitude!
