Our client, a specialist organization dealing with the storage and distribution of DG Hazardous chemical products, is seeking a Pick/Packer – Forklift Driver for a  Permanent role, based in East Auckland. They offer excellent training, working in a health and safety conscious environment are offering competitive pay rates.


The attributes required for this position are:

  • A full current NZ Drivers Licence
  • A Fork Hoist Licence – Counter Balance & Reach Truck included
  • Dangerous Goods Endorsement or chemical handling experience would be advantageous
  • Good reading, writing, computer and documentation skills
  • Pick/packing experience,
  • Familiar with stocktaking processes
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience in dispatch/inwards goods
  • Reliability with good time management skills
  • MPI Accreditation is a plus but not essential
  • Awareness of health & safety procedures
  • A good level of physical fitness and agility
  • A NZ Citizen or Permanent Resident
  • Willing to undergo a drug test
  • Have no criminal record

We are looking for a responsible candidate with a pleasant personality who is able to understand instructions well and learn things quickly.  Dedication, commitment and reliability are main requirements for this role and it is important you will be confident, have good communication skills and enjoy working to a high standard within a team environment.

The hours are Monday to Friday 7.00am to 3.30pm or 9.00am-5.30pm with some Saturday work if required during the busy times.
