Calibration Technician (Ref 07/1801/JK)

Introduction

Our client, a manufacturer of medical devices, is in rapid growth mode and has a great opportunity available to join their talented engineering team. They are looking for an experienced calibration technician to look after in house calibrations of mechanical and laboratory equipment. This is a team that work well together and get involved in all areas of engineering. Though focused on calibrations you will also have the opportunity to be involved in project work as well as maintenance, monitoring and checking of equipment and instruments within manufacturing and the laboratory.

Requirements

You need:

• A relevant Engineering qualification
• 3-5 years’ experience in a calibration role or at least with good hands on calibration experience.
• Experience working within a manufacturing and laboratory environment (ideally GMP)

You will:

• Have excellent communication skills
• Enjoy hands on work and have great mechanical skill
• Possess excellent organisational skills with excellent attention to detail

The ability to be up to speed quickly is a must and though there is a good support team around you must have the ability to work independently. This is a fantastic opportunity to start 2018 off in a fast paced and growing company who want to grow and develop their team to be the best.
